Closing/Escrow and Title Attorney The candidate will advise clients in real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale, refinance, home equity lines of credit of residential and/or commercial property. Attorney’s primary responsibilities will be conducting real estate transactions. Will also have title responsibilities involving the review, analysis, and preparation of a myriad of documents and instruments associated with various real estate transactions. Review title searches. Prepare title certifications and title opinions, and Deeds. Prepare Trust instruments, corporate resolutions, Promissory Notes, Mortgages, Easements. Review real estate contracts. Review and draft easements. Conduct closings for all transactions types. Review the disbursement and recording post-closing. Should have Bachelor’s Degree. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited Law School. Must have South Carolina BAR License in Good Standing. Notary Public is required. Preferred experience in reviewing title, drafting real estate documents, and experience conducting closings.
