Corporate Paralegal The candidate will draft standard corporate agreements, such as non-disclosure, independent contractor agreements, and vendor agreements. Responsible for global contract management and administration of customer, vendor, supplier and partner agreements. Responsible for support related to litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Act as liaison between outside counsel and internal departments. Work with members of the applicable business teams to manage contract deliverables, and assist with special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives. Support global compliance initiatives and related training, such as Information Security, Code of Conduct, Privacy, etc. Assist with a wide variety of administrative issues that directly impact the Legal Department, including information gathering and management. Responsible for internal Legal Department filing system to ensure proper indexing and filing of legal documents, including maintenance of corporate minutes, compliance management and reporting books and records. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant corporate paralegal experience either in a law firm or in-house corporate setting experience in BioTech or relevant industry a plus. Paralegal Certification is preferred. Should have equivalent education and experience may substitute for stated requirements. Should have understanding and experience of corporate law departments. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and the ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment. Must have the ability to independently assess legal and business risks and advise key stakeholders and internal lawyers accordingly. Must be able to manage and coordinate a high volume of projects and other matters in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision. Must be capable of thinking independently and creatively. Should have demonstrated ability to anticipate issues before they arise, seek improvements to processes/systems, as well as take ownership of the project through to completion. Must provide a high level of customer service and responsiveness. International experience and foreign language skills is a plus.
