Paralegal
The candidate will be part of the Legal Team company. Will primarily be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the Company’s contract management system. Support users of the contract management system through training and troubleshooting. Review all contracts for completion and accuracy. Assist in maintaining the contract management system, including making updates to the system as necessary. Ensure all contracts move through system and are submitted for legal review. Assist with the administration of the Company’s liquor and food and beverage licenses, including filing applications, responding to requests for information, and maintaining and updating files and spreadsheets. Assist with general liability claim processing, investigations, documentation, and analysis; forward follow-up information and documentation to the third party administrator; and document and update claim files and spreadsheets. Review contracts and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance with procedures and applicable laws. Handle and respond to subpoenas, discovery, and other legal document requests for information. Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents. Draft contracts, contract management policies, legal documents and corresponding standard operating procedures. Assist with general clerical duties (filing, faxing, photocopying, database updates). Perform other duties as assigned. Assist with various projects (both legal and non-legal) as directed by members of the Legal Department.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Must have prior experience with Contracts and Contract Management. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certifications. Must have a strong comprehension of contract terms and conditions. Must demonstrate proactivity and take ownership of daily responsibilities and projects. Must have excellent computer skills. Must be able to speak and read the English language.
