ProfileManagement and Program Analyst, GS 11 Duties: The candidate develop plans to analyze various organizational issues, and work effectively with appropriate organizations to gain approval (of those plans). Will perform work with various offices throughout DLIFLC to gather, consolidate, and analyze student data and develop fact-based reports. Clean datasets, aggregate relevant variables, weigh influential factors, and develop historical and projected outcome trend analysis using various statistical analysis software programs (including, Excel or SPSS). Provide support to staff in coding data into various databases, formats and other Information Systems (IS). Review support requests, interpreting requests and provide analysis of instructional techniques. Provide recommendations for corrective courses of action to achieve instruction optimization. Interface with personnel at all levels of the organization to gather opinions and data, and communicate recommended actions. Use Microsoft software products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop briefings, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree or 3+ years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration.
Should have 1 year of specialized experience which includes Research and analyze interrelated issues for effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity affecting initiative, projects, programs and policy decisions. Identify, analyze, and develop recommendations to resolve substantive problems which affect the efficiency of program operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
