ProfileCorporate Paralegal - CPG / Pharma The candidate will negotiate confidentiality agreements. Will manage corporate governance matters, including organizing board meetings for various subsidiaries. Project management. Work collaboratively and effectively communicating with legal department personnel, internal clients and external service providers; and ensuring compliance with the Company’s Core Values, Code of Conduct and other corporate policies, including the Company’s record retention and contract policies. Prepares legal documents and correspondence to support the Legal department; direct responsibility for legal review and drafting of confidentiality agreements across the organization, domestic and international. Assist with research for a range of global legal and corporate governance issues using web based services and other legal publications. Responsible for various corporate and subsidiary projects, including organizing board meetings for various subsidiaries; Fields and responds to requests/matters involving outside vendor engaged in the management of various subsidiaries. Responsible for managing the GEMS database. Handle incoming communications including telephone, email inquiries and mail. Routes and responds as appropriate. Process legal invoices for matters with direct involvement. Provide photocopying, filing, expense reconciliation, etc. and prepares documents and reports for distribution (collecting data, proofing, photocopying, etc.). Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, legal and research matters. Bachelor’s degree with paralegal certification required, combined with 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, business or governmental agency/court; 5+ years of experience strongly is preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands, excellent organizational skills is needed. A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with SAP, ERP, and web based travel resources is needed.
