Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its team in Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for a 3rd to 6th-year associate with experience handling a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including secured loans, leases, acquisitions, and dispositions. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Location:

Duties:

• Review title documents and conduct thorough due diligence for real estate transactions.
• Draft, negotiate, and close real estate secured loans, leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on complex real estate matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on transaction management and client relationships.
• Manage multiple real estate projects and client matters simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and ensure documents are accurate and complete.

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in real estate law, particularly in secured lending, leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy in legal work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

• Expertise in real estate law, including secured lending, leasing, and property acquisitions.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and document review skills.
• Ability to provide strategic advice on complex real estate matters.
• Proficient in legal research and document management software.
• Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent time management and project management capabilities.
