Financial Advisor The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of estate plan reviews. Oversight of settling estates when needed. Engaging with clients who want to review and/or update their estate documents. Work closely with the Partner to learn all aspects of Family CFO business; keeps Partner informed on team and client issues. Participate in client meetings; first interview, confidential fact-finding, financial action plan solution, implementation and review meetings. Prepare and/or reviews financial action plans; identifies and incorporates value-added analysis such as retirement sufficiency, education funding, estate planning; identifies and incorporates planning opportunities and investment solutions such as rebalancing, cash needs, and Roth IRA conversions. Works with the Partner to facilitate services for clients including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, tax and accounting services, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate and philanthropic strategies. Provide expertise in issues faced by closely-held businesses, including executive compensation arrangements, business succession planning, tax services and managing employee retirement plans (including pensions, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, profit-sharing plans and non-qualified plans). Commits to ongoing education to remain an authority in Family CFO matters; completes continuing education requirements to maintain licenses. Builds deep, lasting relationships with clients. Establishes and maintains an exemplary reputation in the firm and the community. Fosters an environment of open, honest, and timely communication. Ensures the vision and core values of the firm are incorporated into the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree. Must possess a JD, CPA, CFP®, CFA® or Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Must have CFP® or CFA® within three years of being hired. Four(4) years or more of relevant experience. A J.D. with a background in estate planning is desirable. State requirements for Investment Advisor Representative must be met within 60 days of being hired: Series 65 license or a combination of the Series 66 and Series 7 licenses or one of the following designations, CFP® or CFA® or PFS or ChFC or CIC. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Passion for Family CFO concept and Registered Investment Advisory model. Strong analytical skills. Ability to interact well with clients and all employees. Authorization to work in the U.S. without durational restrictions.
