Legal Assistant Duties: Responsible for assisting the day-to-day legal casework for the firm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Data entry. Scanning and attaching documents electronically. Daily interaction with clients. Daily interaction with insurance companies. Daily interaction with attorneys and other professionals. Maintaining tasks and responsibilities within a caseload. Must be able to work in a team environment. Organizes priorities and structures work flow. Maintain minimum level of cases and client contact. Manage competing demands. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 1 - 3 years' Personal Injury experience. 1 - 3 years' customer service experience. Excellent computer skills / Typing skills. Knowledge of processes and procedures relating to injury law; ex: prepare demand/brochure, medical record review. Knowledge of law firm policies and procedures. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Excellent communication skills. Work well under pressure and with deadlines. Ability to adapt well to change and adjust appropriately. Maintains confidentiality. Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
