Trademark Paralegal
Duties: Global trademark clearance; Prosecution and maintenance of a global trademark portfolio; Global trademark enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts; Communicating with business clients and outside counsel regarding trademark and copyright matters globally; and Trademark-related transactional work including licensing, divestments, acquisitions as necessary.



Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Certification in an ABA-accredited paralegal / legal assistant program. Domestic and/or foreign trademark paralegal work experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in an ABA-accredited paralegal / legal assistant program. Certification in an ABA-accredited paralegal / legal assistant program. Should have 2 years of post-secondary education or equivalent training. 3 years of domestic and foreign trademark paralegal work experience in a private, public, government or military environment. 2 years of post-secondary education or equivalent training. 3 years of domestic and foreign trademark paralegal work experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Experience in both private practice and in-house is preferred. International trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement experience, including an understanding of the Madrid Protocol, Paris Convention and trademark docketing protocols. Experience with Trademark Docketing Software. Experience in both private practice and in-house is preferred. Experience with Trademark Docketing Software. Experience with ANAQUA is a plus.
