A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Agency Finance Associate Attorney for their Washington, . office. The Associate Attorney will play a key role in cross-border transactions, focusing on project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance. The ideal candidate will have prior transactional experience and a proactive approach to taking on increased responsibilities.

Duties:

• Participate in cross-border transactions in the areas of project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance
• Conduct legal research and due diligence
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents
• Communicate effectively with clients and counterparties
• Support senior attorneys in deal management and strategy
• Take on increased levels of responsibility in deal support and execution

Requirements:

• Demonstrated interest in cross-border transactions, preferably in project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance
• Prior experience in a leading domestic or international law firm
• Meaningful transactional experience
• Admission to practice law in New York

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in New York

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Action-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Professional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French (valuable)
