Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for preparation of stipulation extending time to answer (with new matter opening). Review of medical records to identify medical providers; assembly of medical authorizations; and, requesting medical records from providers. Tracking of medical records request and those records received; tracking of discovery demands/responses from opposing Counsel; and, the preparation of weekly health law calendar. Scheduling of client/witness depositions; expert witness depositions; and, client/witness meetings. Tracking of discovery materials to ensure subsequent materials are provided/reviewed by clients and experts. Scheduling of independent medical examinations. Preparation of settlement documents/pleadings (as required/requested). Indexing and chronological organization of medical records. Assisting associates with the assembly of discovery responses / motion exhibits (as requested). Handling other duties, as needed. Must have 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal. Should have Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Paralegal certification is required. Solid analytical and research skills is needed.
