Compliance Counsel Latin America The candidate will develop and review compliance related processes and maintain an effective internal control system, with key performance indicators for compliance needs. Manage and oversee implementation of compliance programs. Monitor the execution of compliance programs to identify risk areas and activate, as appropriate, enquiries or proactive investigation regarding potential compliance violations or compliance-related complaints. Regular report results. Coordinate and monitor investigations on potential issues and make sure the investigations are completed in a timely and proper manner. Work with other lawyers to design and deliver relevant compliance training. Participate in relevant reviews and approval systems and processes, and provide advice as required. Assist the Head of Legal of Latin America to play a key role in compliance within the company in Latam. This includes developing and setting up an effective compliance program, deploying and managing compliance programs and training, assisting in the reporting and investigation process and follow up actions. Regarding Privacy, will be responsible for deploying privacy policies, provide advice and coordinate the execution of Privacy Impact Assessments. Bachelor in Law with large work experience required. Experience in the area of compliance, investigations, forensic data analysis experience is preferred. Strong communication and inter-personal skills; capable to deliver both positive and negative information in a timely manner with can-do attitude required. Fluent English and Spanish required. Portuguese preferred. Good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Data Protection, Fraud, Anti-bribery and corruption, Anti-Trust and Competition regulations required. 8+ years of work experience required.
