Legal Assistant The candidate will provide a broad spectrum of legal services and work in close collaboration and under the supervision of an attorney with a number of varied tasks such as assisting the other associates with compiling information and contacting agencies and corresponding with client. Will establish, review and classify client agreements and other legal documents, write simple reports and memos, keep minutes of legal meetings etc. Manage communication between legal staff and clients. Provide administrative support to lawyers and junior partners. Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, testimonies and interrogations. Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research. Look-up case relevant information. Maintain contact lists. Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence. Previous working experience in a Legal Assistant role is essential. Should have in-depth knowledge with legal procedures and protocols, and the court system. Legal Assistant certification or diploma is needed.
