ProfileLegal Internships (Fall) Legal interns will conduct background research for fact sheets and policy papers and prepare legal and policy analysis related to regulatory actions, legislation, and current events. Interns will also attend Congressional briefings and hearings and meetings of national disability rights and civil rights coalitions. Should have a demonstrated commitment to public interest work and strong communication and organizational skills. Completed course work in a civil rights subject matter, particularly disability rights, is preferred. Deadline: Apr. 1, 2018.
Submit (in single PDF) cover letter (describing interest in working with the Center, the time period for which are applying, and what experiences are hoping to have as an intern), resume, writing sample (10 pg. max.) and unofficial law school transcript.
