Duties

  • Provide expert legal counsel on complex international estate and tax planning for high-net-worth clients.
  • Advise . and . taxpayers on multi-jurisdictional wealth management structures, including foreign trusts, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, and . property acquisition by . persons.
  • Guide clients through tax compliance and reporting obligations related to overseas interests in foreign accounts, corporations, and trusts.
  • Collaborate with attorneys from various disciplines, including corporate, tax, and transactional practices, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Manage relationships with clients, offering creative and effective solutions to address their unique legal and financial needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning with a focus on cross-border tax and estate matters.
  • Strong technical and professional skills in wealth management, tax compliance, and cross-border estate planning.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team-focused environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to client needs.
  • Active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction where the position will be based.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the position will be practiced.
