Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of the day-to-day activities of the Companyâ€™s legal department. Will be providing hands-on counsel to all levels of executive staff, identifying and analyzing legal issues, drafting key documents, presenting clear recommendations to top management, and assuring legal compliance. Responsible for managing outside counsel in several legal specializations including corporate, litigation, IP, etc. Advising executives, management, internal business clients, accountants and marketing staff on wide range of legal topics. Preparing, reviewing and negotiating company contracts and other legal documents. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company. Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements. Providing training to the company on legal topics. Manage of central tracking system for all contracts, including expiration dates, renewals, options and other significant rights and obligations. Must have JD degree from accredited law school admitted to the CO Bar. Should have 5+ yearsâ€™ related experience working in a corporate or law firm setting, reviewing and drafting a variety of contracts. Experience with real estate transactions and leasing, specifically within the hospitality context is preferred. Experience with international/cross-border operations is desired. Experience drafting, negotiating and interpreting complex transactions is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional service to business clients is an asset.
