Duties:

• Represent clients in various family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, property division, mental health, and education law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Provide legal counsel that is both compassionate and practical, helping clients navigate emotionally difficult situations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive and cohesive client services.
• Manage a diverse caseload while working towards achieving successful outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law with substantial courtroom experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex family law cases.
• Professionalism, empathy, and the ability to manage sensitive client situations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Virginia, and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and document drafting abilities.
