Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 7+ years of civil litigation experience are required (ten years or more are preferred). Must have experience in a full range of discovery and motions practice. Must have strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Must have excellent judgment. Must have experience successfully handling multiple time-sensitive assignments. Should preferably have experience in complex environmental litigation, including toxic torts and actions for recovery of natural resource damages. Experience working with underrepresented or ethnically diverse communities or groups is a plus. An ability to read, write or speak in another language in addition to English is desired. Must have graduated from a law school accredited by the ABA or completed the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program and be licensed to practice law.
