Fall Internship The intern duties include: answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, conducting Capitol tours, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues before the House. As a result, interns learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office. Qualified college juniors and seniors, or recent college graduates are considered. Should have agreeable communication skills, and strong writing skills. Arkansas ties are ideal.
