Compliance Associate The candidate provides direction, guidance, and assistance on a variety of compliance matters related to acute-care-hospital and other health-system operations in service of the Holy Cross Health Integrity and Compliance Department. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. Certification in Health Care Compliance is preferred. JD degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA), or other relevant postgraduate degree with certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Should have 3-5 years of experience in the compliance department of an acute care hospital or three to five years of other relevant experience as determined by the Integrity & Compliance Officer. Must possess a strong working knowledge and understanding of the health care industry’s regulatory environment, particularly laws and regulations pertaining to participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs, fraud and abuse laws, and privacy and regulatory compliance programs. Demonstrated capability covering diverse compliance assignments, with a strong preference for experience with reviewing contracts, including physician contracts, and in addressing Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance issues are needed. Knowledge of institutional review boards and HIPAA is preferred. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the mission and core values of Trinity Health and Holy cross Health is needed.
