Real Estate Regulatory Specialist The candidate will ensure the compliance of the territory lease documents with corporate policies and guidelines. Thoroughly review each lease package for completeness and accuracy. Review and understand complex legal documents including government leases, municipality leases, purchase agreements, and distributed antenna system (DAS) agreements and verify accuracy. Interact with outside and in house legal counsel on real estate matters which require special handling. Operate with minimal direct supervision and will manage multiple assignments and projects supporting our 10 sub markets in the east territory.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience. A Notary Public or eligibility to become one. Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience. Real estate license or paralegal license. Experience in the wireless industry. Professional level knowledge of real estate contracts and general business practices as it pertains to the wireless industry. Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and established commitments. Must possess skill and ability to read and understand legal contracts. Must be capable of taking initiative to streamline processes and reduce operating expenses. Shall be flexible, with proven attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to build a rapport with coworkers, managers, and vendors alike. Proficient computer skills required. A proficient knowledge of contracts is required in order to be able to work on special projects such as master agreements for new technologies and small cells. Previous negotiation experience is required. Attention to detail and will be required to input proper information into the company database.
