Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks government contracts attorney with 13+ years of experience. The candidate should have a partial portable book of business. Significant experience in the area of government contracts and federal procurement is essential. Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (the FAR), the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), as it pertains to clients in the transportation (maritime, trucking and aviation), aerospace and defense, biotechnology and medical research, engineering and construction, environmental remediation, professional services and information technology sectors will be most helpful. Prior work experience in federal agencies or on congressional committees is a plus. License to practice law in the District of Columbia is required.
