Investor Relations Associate The candidate will have investor-focused responsibilities and present the candidate with the opportunity to be mentored to work with the full range of the Kairos sophisticated investor base, including high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors. The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible all facets of the client service process from preparing marketing collateral, completing investor diligence requests, portfolio-level analysis, new limited partner on-boarding, and ad hoc projects within the Investor Relations and Marketing team (which resides under our Operations department). This position reports into our Chief Operating Officer (COO). Supports the IR & Corporate Communications mission to educate and update investors and analysts. Collaborates with the COO on the development and detailed execution of the IR strategy, operating plan, and budget. Assists in enhancing the equity story, the data collection, analysis, writing and editing, and production of publications and electronic media used in the IR program. Helps convey the findings through oral presentations and written reports to senior company leaders. Assists with providing covering analysts, investors, and potential new investors with information about the company in order to provide a transparent picture of the company and increase interest in the company. Identifies potential new analysts to take up coverage and identify potential new investors (targeting) in North America, but also internationally. Supports strategic (integrated) communication to include strategy and assuring consistency of messages by all communicators. Collaborates with Corporate Communication on communication-and-media strategy, operating plan, key messages, integration and consistency of messages and efforts, product sharing, and support to operating employees for strategic communication.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelorâ€™s degree from a top-tier institution (GPA 3.5+), preferably in a science or engineering-related field; MBA or J.D. highly desirable. 2-3 years of financial services or alternative investment experience is needed. Must be polished individual with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, ability to multitask and superb time management skills. Strong interest in alternative investments and demonstrated financial acumen are needed.
