Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is in search of a skilled attorney with at least 8 years of experience in commercial leasing to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role involves significant interaction with clients and various stakeholders while providing leadership to junior attorneys.

Duties:

  • Led the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and related agreements (term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, SNDAs).
  • Supervise and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other parties.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality work.
  • Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
  • Adhere to firm policies and standards.
  • Engage in various work activities, including virtual meetings and on-screen tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in commercial leasing.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating diverse leasing agreements.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in Texas

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of the commercial leasing landscape.
  • Experience with multiple property types (office, retail, industrial, life sciences).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
