Management Analyst Duties: The candidate will apply law, policies, regulations, principles, standards and procedures to management and program analysis activities (e.g., developing studies, metrics, methods, advising others). Will develop assessment tools (e.g., exercises, performance reviews) to measure records management program effectiveness. Operate software systems (e.g., MS Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, SharePoint) to prepare reports. Develop and maintain databases related to continuous process improvement activities, projects, and training. Analyze new or current processes to identify potential problems and recommend solutions. Conduct studies of records management programs to identify techniques or procedures for process improvement. Develop recommendations for improvements in management practices or procedures to increase efficiency. Present findings and recommendations (e.g., briefings, staff reports, project papers) of management studies for improvement of program processes.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate must have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop, manage and maintain an electronic tracking system using software such as Excel; 2) Train users on records management policy and processes; and 3) Using the information gathered from conducting fact findings and information assessments to develop presentations, data queries, point papers and reports.
Should have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
Have completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Have completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to 100% of the qualification requirement.
