Lead Counsel The candidate will provide creative and practical guidance to clients on different potential legal and business strategies to help foster a thriving ecosystem of developers, content producers, technology partners, and vendors. Will work on drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including technology, distribution, content and software agreements. Transactional support for Oculus business groups related to the development and distribution of games, entertainment media, technology and software. Product support for platform and software development and distribution. Build relationships with executives, product teams and peers across Oculus and Facebook. Collaborate with subject matters experts at Oculus and Facebook to analyze and communicate legal risks. Should have JD degree with membership in at least 1 state Bar. Should have 5+ years of legal experience, including prior in-house experience with technology, entertainment or gaming companies and/or at a global law firm. Should have experience with technology, middleware, entertainment and/or video game transactions, and software platforms. Experience leading transactions, building influence with tech entrepreneur executives and advising business teams directly is essential.
