This role focuses on representing clients in the commercial and residential mortgage industry, including foreclosure, bridge lending, mortgage transactions, and loan workouts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lender default services and litigation, with strong expertise in handling complex real estate and mortgage-related matters.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload from inception through conclusion.
• Review, draft, and finalize motions and legal documents for court submission.
• Represent clients at settlement and mediation conferences, status conferences, and oral arguments.
• Draft motion papers and other documents for litigated matters.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to default mortgage litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in foreclosure, real estate law, or related fields.
• Proven experience in lender default services and complex litigation.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of New York Supreme Court procedures and processes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
