Executive Legal Assistant The candidate will support the Senior Vice President and General Counsel by performing various substantive legal related functions and is responsible for providing executive assistant duties for the Human Resources Assistant Counsel. Will be responsible for supporting Legal Human Resources by managing and filing confidential documents and electronic communications. Prepare correspondence and responses to agency complaints and inquiries at the direction of attorneys. Maintain calendar and directs email and phone traffic for assigned attorneys as requested. Regularly handles and is exposed to sensitive and/or confidential materials with the utmost confidence. Assemble/compile information for various periodic reporting. Assist in organizing and maintaining procedures for various state insurance department filings, including preparing drafts of state filings. Assist in fact-gathering and obtaining documents related to audits and responses to employment complaints. Manages projects from multiple sources, achieving quality results within required time frames. Assist in preparing agendas, resolutions, reports, etc. for board and committee meetings. Assist with providing support on work related to mergers and acquisitions and related filings. Communicates with many departments and officers to obtain necessary information. Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel arrangements. Prepare and submit expense reports. Organize and maintain computer filing databases. Process invoices for approval and payment, prepares check requests. Assist with special projects as assigned. Manage calendar which includes being a filter for meeting requests. Coordinate mail, including taking action on items if needed. Compose correspondence, including email correspondence. Coordinate calendars for variety of meetings that include all business and shared services executives. Prepare presentations in a professional, timely and accurate manner for various meetings and events. Coordinate business travel. Coordinate expense reimbursements as well as review and approve Pcard transactions on-line. Other projects and duties as needed.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a high school education, and preferably 2-4 years of post secondary education or 5-10 years of executive legal assistant experience. Experience using Office SW - Excel, Word, Power Point, Lotus Notes, and Adobe Acrobat is essential. Must have organizational skills and be a self-starter.
