Manager Subcontract Administration 2
The candidate's responsibilities include: Direct Supervision of a staff of AMP Subcontracts management professionals by assigning work priorities and daily assignments necessary to support the program objectives; Direct report to the ARIS Subcontracts Manager and Working closely day-to-day with the Director, Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) and Payload & Ground IPT Directors to accomplish Program execution priorities; Provide input into strategic objectives with both initiation and execution of these objectives; Provide effective oversight of the Subcontracts team that ensures compliance with established policies and procedures; The work will be conducted in an IPT/SMT environment to ensure all aspects of the subcontract - cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance in support of program requirements and commitments are met; Co-location with Subcontract manager Direct Reports, IPT Director and GSCPM Director, working closely with them to manage a portfolio of critical and complex subcontracts, including, but not limited to the following tasks Managing a team responsible for development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services; Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiates subcontractor proposals, selection of subcontractors, creating Subcontract awards, and administers resulting subcontracts; Negotiating and implementing additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts; Supporting various program proposal, ECP, and CROM activities - Collaborate closely with other key program functions and stakeholders such as Program Management, Contracts, IPT Leadership, Engineering, Price/Cost & Compliance; Prepare and present executive level presentations. Must have Bachelor's degree with 5 years (3 years with a Masters or JD degree) of Supply Chain management experience, Subcontract management experience and/or Contract management experience, plus some leadership/management experience.
