Corporate Counsel The candidate will lead lawyer providing end-to-end support to our global marketing team and platform partners teams, providing strategic legal advice to support and execute against business strategy, and negotiating commercial contracts for these business lines. Design, implementation, execution and improvement of contracting processes and oversight for issues arising from these business pillars, who are driving and implementing projects to pursue and achieve the 3.0 digital strategy. Legal business partner to strategic platform partners (global distribution systems, online booking tools and third party channels) at a global and at a market level to the extent required. Anchor lead for drafting, reviewing and negotiating platform partner commercial contracts at a global level and in markets. Legal business partner to the marketing teams (e.g e-commerce, digital marketing, pursuit marketing etc). Anchor lead for reviewing marketing material, as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor agreements for the marketing function at a global level and in market. Liaison with compliance and data privacy counterparts on data protection issues, commercial negotiations or other inquiries. Collaborate closely with legal colleagues supporting other business functions namely products and technology, Roomit, global supplier management (airlines, rail, ground transportation etc), as well as customer and markets. Provide support to other team members on an as needed basis for other business lines within the Strategy and Commerce team (Global Partners Network, Corporate Development, External Communications, Global Supplier Management, Strategy). Provide thought leadership for legal matters at firm, review and design new policies and procedures to ensure greater coordination / efficiency in legal support (and technology support) for the business. Support efforts to improve workflow, including updates to contracts database. Lead initiatives to anchor relationships between inhouse legal and compliance team and business teams to ensure strong relationships organically with clients and a solid customer experience, other than when emergencies / issues arise. Creatively engage with global business teams to proactively deepen responsiveness and engagement with Legal. Train and educate on legal matters for teams working in marketing and platform partners, and provide regular updates to in-house legal team. Liaise with outside counsel as needed, ensuring best value advice for the business subject to budget. Participate in and/or lead additional projects as required. University degree and Law degree is essential. Authorized to practice law and in good standing is essential. Law firm experience preferred, preferably in an international firm. Must have 6+ years of experience. Language skills desired. Experience working / living in different jurisdictions where operates a plus.
