Job Overview: A reputable law firm is looking for an experienced Condominium Association Associate Attorney to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent condominium associations in legal matters, providing strategic counsel, and handling a range of legal issues that affect property owners, associations, and developers.

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation to condominium associations in Hawaii, including litigation and transactional matters.
  • Advise on legal issues relating to property management, association governance, and disputes between unit owners and associations.
  • Draft, review, and enforce governing documents, including declarations, bylaws, and rules.
  • Handle cases involving construction defects, contracts, and insurance claims.
  • Counsel clients on regulatory compliance, including local and state laws affecting condominium associations.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Assist in the negotiation and settlement of disputes.
  • Stay updated on evolving legal developments relevant to condominium law.

Requirements:

  • Experience in real estate or condominium law.
  • Strong understanding of Hawaii's condominium association regulations and property law.
  • Proven experience in handling condominium-related litigation.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with clients and legal teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Hawaii State Bar Association.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii.

Skills:
