Assistant United States Attorney The candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of criminal cases with an emphasis on narcotics and violent crime. Must have a J.D. degree, be duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney under the laws of a State, territory, or the District of Columbia, and have 1+ year of post-J.D. experience. Should be active member in good standing of the Bar (any jurisdiction). Should preferably have 3-5 years of experience litigating cases in federal courts, with substantial responsibility for all aspects of discovery, trial, and appeals. Should preferably also have some subject matter expertise in prosecuting gang violence and/or drug trafficking organizations. Proficiency in the Spanish language is a plus.
