ProfileAssociate General Counsel, Oculus Sales and Marketing The candidate will provide practical and expert legal guidance to the Oculus sales, retail, and ecommerce teams, while also providing support for other marketing and promotional initiatives. Support general business objectives related to sales and marketing. Influence and build relationships with executives, product teams and peers across Oculus and the firm. Collaborate with subject matter experts at Oculus and the firm to analyze and communicate legal risks. Should have J.D. degree with membership in at least 1 state Bar. Must have 8+ years of sales transaction and operations legal experience in-house and/or at law firms. Should have experience with retail, ecommerce, and other B2B sales, as well as sales channel operations/programs and consumer promotions. Industry experience and legal knowledge in evaluating, addressing, and advising on sales issues – including antitrust and competition, pricing and promotions, and direct consumer sales is needed. Must have experience with consumer products, and emerging technology products and services. Should preferably have experience building influence with creative and enthusiastic sales and marketing teams and executives, and advising those teams directly. Experience with consumer electronic products and connected devices are a plus. Should preferably have international sales channel experience. Prior in-house and law firm experience is a plus.
