Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: assisting attorneys with a variety of essential litigation-related tasks, maintaining and organizing documents, developing summaries of depositions, preparing exhibits for court, and filing/retrieving court records; typing correspondence and pleadings, document revision, maintaining client files, monitoring calendars, scheduling appointments and court reporters, assisting with case preparation, filing/retrieving courthouse records, staffing reception area, maintaining library, and other tasks necessary to the daily function of the office, which vary from day to day. Should have a bachelor's degree and/or significant, related work experience. A paralegal degree and experience working in a law firm is a plus. Must have excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, general computer skills (including typing), and most importantly excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
