ProfileInvestigative Analyst, GS-1805-09 Duties: Providing investigative inspection or intelligence support towards the office mission by conducting trend analysis, statistical review and special projects involving data from a variety of sources. Conducts analytical research on criminal or regulatory related data, and generate informational reports. Identifying and selecting appropriate software for use in automating various administrative reports such as travel, inventory, training, etc. as well as preparing visual charts, graphs, etc. for use in cases, trials and hearing. Conducting routine intelligence-related tasks in support of ongoing investigative inspection and intelligence activities for the assigned office. Conducting some analysis of database information and produces output.
Qualification and Experience
GS-9: Must have 1+ year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-7 grade level. Specialized experience for the position is defined as: experience providing investigative or inspection support; assisting with trend analysis analyses and statistical studies for any organization; summarizing reports and extracting essential intelligence information to create cohesive reports for superiors and for obtaining manipulating data from a variety of investigative databases.
