Law Student Volunteer, Academic Year Interns will participate in a wide range of work alongside Assistant United States Attorneys in both the Criminal and Civil Divisions. Typical assignments include research and writing projects, participating in witness interviews, document analysis, assisting in preparing for depositions and oral arguments in court, and assisting with trials.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must have completed at least one-full year of full-time law school before the start of the internship. Current first- year and second- year students are encouraged to apply for full time summer positions. For positions during the academic year, preference will be given to third-year and second-year students with strong academic background and relevant legal experience. Deadline: March 1
