Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dedicated Patent Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their team in Cleveland, OH. Job Duties:

• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
• Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patent matters.
• Conduct intellectual property due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Assist with patent litigation matters when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in patent prosecution.
• Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Exceptional academic credentials throughout undergraduate and law school.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with patent litigation support.
• Familiarity with intellectual property due diligence processes.
• Proficiency in patent databases and research tools.

Certifications:

• Registration as a patent attorney with the USPTO.
