Senior Legal Counsel The candidate will help ensure success of the commercial team. Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts for clients, health plans and other partnerships, with particular emphasis on BAAs, DUAs and related agreements. Protect the company from compliance risk. Advise the company on HIPAA, CCPA and related privacy matters. Enable team members to be self sufficient. Assist in the maintenance of templates for agreements with customers and partners. Help the legal department scale and position the company for IPO. Support the legal team across other practice areas, including employment, vendor contracting, investor relations, etc. California Bar Member required. Contract Structuring and Negotiation required. Understanding of the Healthcare System (incl. HIPAA) required. Attention to Detail required. Analytical Skills required. Organization and planning (multi-tasking) required. Strong Ethics required. Creativity required. Empathetic Communication Skills required.
