A law firm seeks a passionate and dedicated Associate Attorney to advocate for employees facing workplace injustice, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. Duties
- Meet with clients to evaluate potential employment law claims.
- Handle cases related to workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, overtime disputes, FMLA violations, and wrongful termination.
- Manage the litigation process, including drafting legal documents such as EEOC charges and state charge forms.
- Represent clients in negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, staff, and senior attorneys.
- Collaborate with government agencies, including EEOC investigators, to build and support cases.
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
- Strong advocacy skills and a client-centered approach.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience in employment law is beneficial but not required. Training is provided.
Education
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Member in good standing of a state bar association.
