Nesenoff & Miltenberg’s Boston office seeks a full-time paralegal to support attorneys specializing in general civil litigation practice. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of experience at a law firm, be knowledgeable on both state and federal practice, able to work in a fast-paced environment, be well-organized, demonstrate an ability to multi-task, and be detail-orientated.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Filing electronically various court documents and pleadings
  • Organizing case documents and files
  • Managing discovery and document productions
  • Completing deposition summaries
  • Communicating with clients, attorneys, court personnel and experts


  • At least three years of prior litigation experience.
  • Experience with both federal and state court practice.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Westlaw and/or Lexis Nexis.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and PDF software.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of the firm's internal and personnel affairs and client information.
  • Understands the ethics of the position, including ethical rules in regards to confidentiality, billing, client representation, and advocacy.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to closely proof-read key documents prior to filing before the Court.
