ProfileLegal Intern Summer 2018 Duties: Intern to help research and analyze a wide range of legislative, regulatory, and judicial actions that affect mission. Duties may include researching legislation, compiling case summaries, analyzing regulatory actions, and authoring white papers. Attend internal & external meetings relevant to the mission goals of the organization. Conduct research in line with the learning opportunities germane to health law to develop new skills. Gain understanding of areas related to government relations, congressional operations, court cases, and federal agencies engaged in health policy.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications include: completion of at least one year of law school; excellent writing skills; the ability to work under deadlines; understanding basic health law a plus. Must also have excellent writing and verbal skills, and the ability to work under deadlines. Understanding of basic health law is preferred. Full-time student, If you are an undergraduate student have completed your freshman year of college; Have a minimum of a B average (cumulative 3.0 on 4.0 scale); Plan to continue their education in the following term/semester.
