Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Attorney for its federal court litigation practice. The firm specializes in challenging delayed or denied immigration petitions through federal courts and applying administrative law principles to immigration regulations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of federal court practice experience and an in-depth understanding of administrative law. Candidates with federal government litigation experience are encouraged to apply. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including remote and hybrid options, with a requirement to travel to the Philadelphia office biannually.
Duties:
- Analyze administrative records to formulate legal strategies challenging adverse agency decisions
- Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis on immigration matters in federal court
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other key legal documents with federal courts
- Prepare and present compelling arguments before federal judges
- Deliver presentations on federal court litigation options to internal teams and external clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team on business development and marketing strategies
- Cultivate expertise in immigration law and administrative law principles
- Work closely with colleagues to support client cases and resolve complex legal matters
- Maintain regular communication with clients to discuss case updates and procedural details
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school
- Admission to the bar in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal court litigation, with a strong focus on administrative law
- Experience with federal government litigation is highly desirable
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and maintain a client-centered approach
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in multitasking and handling high-pressure demands in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
