Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-related matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and harassment claims.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm.
  • Provide legal advice and represent clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Research legal issues related to each case and advise clients on the best course of legal action.
  • Handle all aspects of employment law, including class actions, ADA compliance, and more.

 

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence or Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar with an active California law license in good standing.
  • 3+ years of experience working in employment law, preferably in California.
  • Demonstrable experience in all aspects of employment law.
  • Utilize strong written and oral communication skills to effectively represent clients and communicate legal advice.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work independently on complex issues and assume responsibility quickly.
  • Collaborate with disparate groups of people, including clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a client-focused mindset.
