Senior Group Legal Counsel The candidate will provide highly efficient and quality legal support to Cradlepoint, including supporting and leading legally complex transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other legal documents, including a variety of customer and partner transactions such as distribution, reseller, alliance, and other strategic relationship agreements. Work with cross-functional teams to provide business structuring, new product go-to-market, and business model support. Facilitate commercial operations of Cradlepoint and assist with appropriate risk analysis. Support compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and directives. Provide legal training as well as legal advice to employees at all levels, including high-level executives. Manage and control external legal resources.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a membership in a State Bar in good standing. Should have 10+ years of experience practicing qualified commercial law, and international commercial contracting experience. Recognized experience, skills and competence to independently handle legal matters. Good knowledge and skills to support a SaaS, cloud-based technology company, including data privacy and security topics. Ability to handle any counterparty in negotiations and otherwise, and support and work with high- and top-level managers. Familiarity and experience using a contract lifecycle management system. Interest in and understanding of business strategies and goals along with proven financial understanding and awareness. Integrity, accountability, analytical ability and being creative and committed. Have sophisticated skills in communication and social competence and manage stress. Flexibility to effectively deal with high-volume, rapid cycles, multiple assignments, concurrent deadlines, and changing priorities.
