Litigation Support Analyst The candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to individuals and/or teams conducting extensive investigations of businesses and individuals, often related to high profile civil litigation. Will provide reports and project status information as needed. May coordinate project team activities and workflow so that projects and tasks are completed accurately and timely. Document and save backup information and findings as needed to prepare final reports. Enter and/or review all appropriate information in 'Task Matters' in accordance with internal procedures. Compile, organize or serve as final review of related information and documents for various projects or cases. Edit proof and prepare information, documents and associated material for client presentations. Complete assigned tasks for various projects, which may include obtaining public records. May supervise less experienced staff or project team. Work with other staff members as required, sharing information and collaborating on projects, assignments or specific tasks. Copy and scan documents as necessary. Review old case files as needed to determine affiliation or relevance with current project and upload files as appropriate. Train support staff as needed. Format and send final reports to counsel and appropriate parties, which may include witness lists. Work some evenings, nights and weekends on time sensitive related projects. May research and obtain various records from Case Management Facility (CMF). Assist Case Manager and team of investigators with special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required abilities. Should be proficient with MS Word and Excel; and case management system. Experience in providing legal administrative or paralegal type support is needed. Strong Internet and computer application skills are essential. Good knowledge of Internet search engines is a must. Should have ability to: organize various data and information; analyze problems and identify appropriate alternatives; and work effectively and interact with all levels of staff and departments throughout the organization. Must be able to work effectively with co-workers, subordinates and supervisors and customers.
