Court Services Supervisor II (Family Division) The candidate, under the general direction of the Court Executive 2b (Division Manager) or other high level manager or supervisor, leads, instructs, evaluates, and monitors the work activities of a case management team. Tracks cases for case management purposes which may include utilizing backlog reports. Directs case processing staff accordingly on their specific calendaring requirements and instructs team members in setting work priorities. Oversees the management of calendars; coordinating work between units or teams; oversees special projects; ensures compliance of all Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and judiciary policies and procedures; establishes performance expectations and goals as well as conducts formal work performance evaluations with team members; identifies training needs; develops and formulates procedures and/or practices to ensure efficient court/unit operations; provides direction and feedback to staff for achieving division goals. Additional division specific duties may include identifying/analyzing problems in order to implement and enforce court orders; supervision and monitoring offenders. Performs related work as required.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience, 1 year of which shall have included experience in calendar management; case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders. Candidates who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An Associate's degree and 2 years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above OR a law degree may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above.
