Paralegal/Legal Assistant, Contract Responsibilities: Prepare documents, including: Contracts, deeds, transfer documents, promissory notes, mortgages, and closing statements. Coordinate real estate closings. Review title insurance commitments and surveys. Order and review due diligence documents and entity formation. Review registration documents. Manage transaction calendars and prepare critical date lists. Prepare written correspondence and bills.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Outlook, Word & Excel). Experience with Time Matters and Billing Matter is preferred. Strong communicator and team player. Technologically savvy. Strong backgrounds in many areas of the law, including: injuries and accidents; commercial litigation; insurance coverage; wills, trusts, and estates; business formation and contracts; and real estate.
