A law firm seeks an experienced Environmental Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office. This position is tailored for candidates with at least three years of experience in environmental litigation, regulatory compliance, and related matters. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in California's environmental statutes and regulations, including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Duties:

• Engage in litigation and regulatory compliance related to environmental matters.
• Navigate and interpret California's complex environmental laws.
• Prepare legal documents and research pertinent regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to provide effective legal advice on environmental issues.
• Work on matters involving the California Energy Commission (CEC) and energy transition topics.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in environmental law.
• Proven ability to manage cases effectively and provide sound legal counsel.
• Strong academic background with a focus on environmental law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar license.
