Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for: receiving and screening visitors, transcribing dictation, proofreading and correcting prepared materials, composing routine letters and memoranda or reports, preparing and e-filing documents with state and federal courts, managing calendars for all court imposed deadlines, and opening new files notifying claim adjusters or interested parties of representation. Should preferably be a high school graduate, have 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary, strong PC skills (Time Matters experience a plus), and excellent verbal communication skills. A paralegal certification is a plus.
