Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for Assisting an attorney in preparing for and conducting, depositions, hearings, trials and conferences. Acting as the first point of contact for a high volume of potential and current clients. Provide exceptional client service and calmly and professionally handle difficult clients. Completing administrative tasks, including: time management and calendaring duties for yourself and the attorney; organizing documents, case files, and discovery; tracking time and creating monthly bills; conducting conflict checks; creating and maintaining a case-management database; organizing and tracking files or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents. Investigating the factual evidence of a case and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams. Prepare preliminary drafts of legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenas. Conducting routine discovery. Gain new skills through provided training on cutting-edge technology, best practices, and legal methods.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate shall have Paralegal degree or other relevant certification with 5+ years of proven working experience as a litigation paralegal and have knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices. Must be Highly organized with ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing and communication skills; particularly, the ability to communicate professionally with people who are not being professional. Attention to detail. Extensive computer and database expertise.
